On March 16, 2006 CMI & Associates became Southeast Technical Sales (STS).  STS will continue CMI's tradition of providing local sales, service and support for the customers we serve and the manufacturers we represent, throughout the Southeastern US.  We value our business relationships and truly hope to partner for success with both our customers and manufacturers.

The three employee/owners of STS are:

Philip Byrum; Phil covers Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Florida Panhandle. He has been selling in the Embedded Computing System Industry for over 18 years. He has worked as a regional sales manager from Coast to Coast for a VME and CompactPCI manufacturer and sales rep in the southeast U.S. for 8 of those years. He holds a B.S. degree in Psychology from Asbury College, in Wilmore, KY and 2 years Computer Electronics Training from Southern Institute, Huntsville, AL.

Brian Billheimer; Brian covers the Florida peninsula and has been actively selling in this region for over 10 years. Prior to STS, Brian held various sales management positions selling through distributors and manufacturer representatives for companies in the process control and embedded markets. Brian holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Boston University.

Bill Barks; Bill covers the state of Georgia as well as North and South Carolina. He has been active in sales in the territory for over 20 years. He has owned two successful Mfg. Rep Company’s as well. Bill attended the University of Heidelberg and finished his schooling at Arizona State University with dual majors in Industrial Engineering and Management.
